Raw fish is everywhere in the world. All fish starts out raw before it is cooked. Then why is sushi Japanese?
The Japanese didn’t create something new. They took something that everyone thought was gross, and decided it was delicious. And then the world realized — yes, they’re right. Now there is demand for sushi in every city in the world. But it remains Japanese.
They invented a new perspective. Looking at the same thing in a new light. A change in taste.
In some ways, this is what we are doing at Snackpass. It’s not necessarily a new idea or new technology. It actually seemed like a dumb idea at first — even to me. That is, until you realize it isn’t.
